Bruce Burdick's desk for Herman Miller
In the 1980s, Bruce Burdick designed 'the Burdick Group System', a desk system that could be put together in several ways. See: https://www.hermanmiller.com/nl_nl/designers/burdick/
The desk in this advertisement has three worktops that can be mounted in different ways on the aluminum supports and aluminum legs. Material worktops: 2 x wood with black laminate, 1 x glass.
The desk is in good vintage condition and is from 1987. I do not have a photo available of the complete desk because it is stored in parts.
Therefore, photos of parts of this desk, drawings of possible setups of this desk and photos of other desks that properly represent the material. So some imagination is required.
The parts of the desk are:
• Wood/black laminate worktop: 150x90 cm.
• Wood/black laminate worktop: 150x60 cm.
• Glass, sandblasted, round: diameter 125 cm.
3 aluminum legs
2 aluminum supports: 215 and 300 cm.
10 aluminum supports for the worktops
screws for mounting
1 black metal drawer unit
1 hanging waste bin, black plastic
4 mail trays, black plastic
1 document tray, black plasticvery light scratches on aluminum legs
