Solid elm
Very good condition
The fronts are composed of vertical solid elm slats set in a wide frame; the handles, two half-moons carved from the mass, meet in the center. The cabinet rests on four square legs that clearly lift it off the ground.
Maison Regain, established in the Hautes-Alpes, produced solid elm furniture with horizontal lines and softened edges from the 1960s to the 1980s, entrusted to French workshops rather than produced in a single factory. As Dutch elm disease caused elm to disappear from French forests in the late 1970s, the collection is closed.
Interior with one shelf and two drawers. The entire piece has been fully restored.
