Product description
A unique and characterful West African bronze/brass sculpture of a stylized rooster. This object is entirely handcrafted using the traditional 'lost-wax' method (cire perdue), meaning that no two are alike.
The sculpture features a beautiful, rough surface texture with geometric details directly inspired by traditional Ashanti/Akan art. Although the sculpture is hollow cast from the inside, the thickness of the metal attests to pure craftsmanship; the object feels very solid and heavy. A stunning eye-catcher for lovers of tribal art, Brutalist design, or a unique interior.
Bronze / Brass alloy
Height: 23 cm
Weight: Over 1.5 kg
Technique: Authentic handmade casting (cire perdue)
