Product description
PAIR OF BRUTALIST WALL LAMPS – IN THE STYLE OF TOM AHLSTRÖM & HANS EHRLICH
This striking and extremely rare pair of Brutalist wall lamps, attributed to Tom Ahlström and Hans Ehrlich, embodies the raw, sculptural aesthetic of 1960s Swedish design. Handcrafted with patinated wrought iron frames and mouth-blown Murano glass, these pieces create a dramatic interplay of light and texture. Their bold form exudes both strength and artistry, functioning not just as lighting but as sculptural statements.
Though unmarked, the design, materials, and craftsmanship are unmistakably reminiscent of Ahlström and Ehrlich's work for A+E Leuchte. The juxtaposition of industrial iron and delicate glass captures the essence of Brutalist design—a compelling balance of ruggedness and refinement. When illuminated, the hand-blown glass emits a warm, ambient glow, enhancing the atmosphere of any space.
In excellent vintage condition, these lamps are offered only as a pair. Their rarity, exceptional craftsmanship, and sculptural presence make them true collector’s items—perfect for Brutalist, mid-century, or eclectic interiors.
