A pair of handmade brutalist metal candlesticks in a tribal style, featuring images of women. Made of welded steel with a beautifully raw, organic finish, each figure celebrates the texture, movement, and craftsmanship of forged metal.
The figures are designed to be displayed together or separately and can be arranged in countless poses and configurations. One figure holds two candle trays in her hands, while the other has a candle holder at her knee. Their elongated forms and expressive silhouettes create a dramatic sculptural presence, even when not in use. The women are dressed in a tribal style with twisted metal chains, anklets, bracelets, and dramatic, knife-shaped earrings as the only adornments. Their faces have a mask-like character.
Inspired by the brutalist studio metal movement of the 60s and 70s, these sculptural candlesticks blur the line between functional object and artwork. Perfect as a striking centerpiece on your table, mantelpiece, or even altar. Figure A: 73 cm long x 23 cm wide x 29 cm high
Figure B: 66 cm long x 26 cm wide x 33 cm high
