Large Brutalist table clock produced in Germany by Casper Kunstguss around 1970.
A sculptural model in highly textured cast aluminum, typical of the German Brutalist aesthetic of the 1970s.
The circular dial features a deep radial relief evoking a solar explosion or a mineral structure. The contrasting applied light aluminum hour markers accentuate the graphic effect. The clock rests on a solid, architectural base forming an arch.
Operates on one AA battery (quartz movement). Original manufacturer's label on the back.
