Product description
Brutalist lounge chair designed by Sonja Wasseur in the 1970's. The chair features a black lacquered oak wooden frame with saddle leather details and leather upholstered cushions. The backrest is adjustable and can be placed in various positions. All furniture by Sonja Wasseur was handmade and produced in very small numbers in her Studio in Amsterdam. The distinctive chairs are authentic and can not be compared with any other chair from this period. The brutalist design is unmistakably recognizable in all of her work. We have a matching one available. Both acquired from the first owner.
