This striking Brutalist dining set consists of a solid light oak dining table with six matching chairs. What makes this set so special is the unique triangular shape of the tabletop and the robust, artisanal wood joints that immediately catch the eye. The entire set dates from the late 1960s / early 1970s.
The set is entirely crafted from solid oak in a warm, light wood tone. The table rests on a sturdy Y-shaped base with striking mortise and tenon joints, which enhances the Brutalist and rustic character. The six accompanying chairs feature a comfortable slatted seat and an organically shaped backrest that aligns beautifully with the corners of the table.
The set is in good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with its age, such as some scratches and slight loss of lacquer in a few small areas. The wood has retained its original finish and exudes pure craftsmanship.
This dining set is a real eye-catcher for a spacious kitchen-diner or dining room. The design fits perfectly in both a country, rustic interior and an eclectic, modern space where natural materials take center stage. Dimensions: The table has two long sides of 130 cm, one side of 122 cm, and the three corners have a side of 40 cm.
The height of the tabletop is 75 cm, and the thickness of the top is 4.5 cm. The legs are made of solid beams measuring 9 x 9 cm.
The bathtub can be removed from the base by unscrewing a few bolts.
The chairs are 86 cm high, with a backrest width of 49 cm.
The seat has a depth of 44 cm and a width of 43 cm. The seat height is 45 cm.
