This striking ceiling lamp reflects the Brutalist Mid-Century aesthetic of the 1940s, combining sculptural wrought iron with a warm gilt finish that shifts between bronze and gold depending on the light. The drum-shaped body is framed by a crenellated upper band reminiscent of medieval castle ramparts, while the iron surface features a pronounced hammered texture characteristic of hand-worked metalwork from the period. The underside reveals an intricate openwork composition of interlacing iron bands, forming a geometric lattice with elegant scrollwork at the ends. These architectural and medieval-inspired elements are reinterpreted through a distinctly Mid-Century lens, giving the fixture its unusual and highly sculptural character. A glass diffuser behind the ironwork softens the light and allows it to filter through the openings and perforations.
