Vintage Magazine rack Side table Fat Lava Volcano tiles Mid Century Modern 70s Brutalist
Add a powerful statement to your interior with this beautiful, vintage brutalist magazine rack from the 70s. Here, functionality is combined with artistic aesthetics from the Mid-Century Modern period. The top consists of three magnificent ceramic tiles with a 'Fat Lava" glaze in volcanic orange and deep black. The colors pop !!! The frame is made of robust oak with a wavy edge. The base is forged from black iron. The table is in very good vintage condition, with a few light spots on the oak top (see photos)

The Fat Lava tiles are glazed with chemicals that created a crust-like texture. The combination of the fiery red-orange colors with the dark edges is reminiscent of solidified volcanic lava.
