Product description
This sculptural bronze candlestick was crafted in the 1960s by the renowned German metal workshop Harjes. The design is distinguished by its striking, brutalist aesthetic, which blends raw materiality with architectural elegance.
Cast entirely from solid bronze, the piece features Harjes' signature textured finish. Its slender, soaring silhouette rests on a geometrically shaped, square base, lending the design visual weight and stability. The golden-brown patina underscores the authentic vintage character of this mid-20th-century design.
The candlestick is in excellent condition. The natural oxidation and fine patina of the bronze bear witness to the object's history and contribute to its unique charm without compromising its structural integrity.
As a striking standalone piece or when combined with other bronze objects, this candlestick enhances sophisticated interiors. It blends seamlessly into brutalist, modernist or eclectic living concepts and adds a powerful sculptural accent to a sideboard or dining table.
