Product description
Brutalist metal sculpture, 1950s-1970s France. "Dripping art" is a metal artwork, very strong but appearing very delicate like lace. Inspired by Japanese scholar stone. Jackson Pollock was a major name in painting. Such sculptures are rare and have been found on 1stdibs and other websites for high prices. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular block of the same material. Unsigned, maker unknown. Possibly by Philippe Buil, a French artist known for dripping metal lace sculptures.
