This exceptional coffee table from the 70s or 80s is a striking example of Brutalist design, strongly reminiscent of the work of Lothar Klute. The design combines artisanal wrought ironwork with heavy, artistic glass, resulting in a powerful yet elegant piece of furniture.
The round tabletop, with a generous diameter of 110 cm, consists of three segments of cast glass featuring a striking organic structure. This rests on a slender, solid wrought iron base with graceful brass-colored connections. The table has a height of 42 cm and displays a beautiful, gold-colored finish that softens its robust character.
The table is in excellent vintage condition. The glass is completely intact and the base is sturdy and stable, with a characterful patina that emphasizes the age and authenticity of the piece.
