Beautiful thrown stoneware teapot, dating from that particularly rich period of the 1960s-1970s when artisanal pottery regained a prominent place in French interiors. Its generous silhouette retains the marks of the potter's wheel, intentionally left visible and highlighted by a brown glaze with earthy, ocher, and honey nuances. The variations in texture, the darker speckles, and the firing effects give each side a different character and immediately evoke the work of earth and fire. The large modeled handle, the elongated spout, and the conical lid topped with a round knob create a robust, warm, and highly decorative piece. It naturally finds its place among studio stoneware and ceramics from the 1960s and 1970s, but works equally well today in a contemporary interior, placed on a wooden shelf, an antique table, or amidst a ceramic collection. The spout has an old chip, visible in the photographs. This now tells the story of this piece and does not detract from its beautiful decorative character. Height approximately 20 cm with its lid. Diameter of the opening approximately 10 cm.
