This hand-thrown stoneware pitcher stands out with its slender silhouette and spherical side handle, characteristic of studio ceramic productions from the 1960s-1970s. The flamed glaze, in a warm brown, ochre, and cream palette, reveals the unpredictable nature of the firing process: each flow, each nuance is unique, the result of high-temperature firing which gives the stoneware its remarkable density and solidity. The interior, left as raw stoneware with its clearly visible throwing marks, bears witness to the potter's hand. The hand-pinched spout and the trimmed base, bearing a stamped mark, complete the portrait of an authentically artisanal piece. Placed on a stone countertop or a raw wood shelf, this pitcher makes a subtle yet strong statement. It will gracefully hold a bouquet of wildflowers as well as a collection of pencils, or simply draw the eye. This piece has a small chip on the spout, visible in the photos, without affecting the pitcher's integrity. Height: approximately 20 cm.
