Product description
This refined bronze sculpture by Alexandre Kelety depicts an elegant Amazon in harmonious interaction with an antelope. The classic motif, characteristic of the Art Deco period, gracefully portrays the connection between man and nature through flowing lines and a detailed anatomical representation.
The sculpture is crafted from high-quality bronze and is mounted on a layered, rectangular base of veined black marble. The warm, brown patina of the bronze forms a powerful contrast with the dark stone. The meticulous finishing of the details, including the antelope's horns and the subtle drapery surrounding the female figure, attests to the artist's exceptional craftsmanship. The work bears Kelety's signature.
The artwork is in excellent condition, with the original patina and the structural integrity of the marble fully preserved. The solid construction shows no significant defects, indicating very careful preservation over the years. This stately object forms a refined centerpiece within a classic, Art Deco, or eclectic interior. The sculpture comes into its own particularly well on a sideboard, a wide mantelpiece, or in a highlighted display cabinet, where it adds a timeless elegance to the room.
