Product description
This elegant bronze artwork, crafted by the renowned bronze founder Boud Ceysens of Hechtel-Eksel, son of the late Willy Ceysens, is a subtle example of modern, organic form art. The stylized lines flow gracefully into an abstract, almost leaf-like form that radiates a gentle tension between openness and enclosure. At the heart of the sculpture rests a small pearl, like a hidden core that lends the whole a poetic layering. The sculpture stands firmly on a dark natural stone plinth, on which the marking “St Oda.” is applied to the back. Ceysens’ signature is subtly located on the side, confirming the craftsmanship and artisanal heritage of this fine piece. With its restrained size, warm patina, and harmonious design, this is an art object that fits effortlessly into both modern and classic interiors. A particularly decorative and collectible work, ideal for the connoisseur of refined bronze and Belgian form art. Dimensions: Height including base 18.5 cm x W 6.75 cm, base H 6 x W 6 x D 5 cm Weight: 0.90 kg In very nice condition with light signs of use on the edges of the base typical of second-hand goods.
