This bronze statue depicts Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion, standing gracefully on a lotus base. The slender figure displays the refined, gently feminine character often found in Southeast Asian representations of this spiritual icon. Cast in bronze, the sculpture features a lotus motif at the shoulder, symbolising purity and spiritual awakening. The composed hand gesture, restrained jewellery, and delicately modelled form give the piece a serene devotional presence.
