About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Muffin Wood 02 table lamp, a design by Lucie Koldova and Dan Yeffet for the Czech brand Brokis. The lamp is characterized by the combination of artisan blown glass and a solid wooden base, resulting in an object with a soft, poetic appearance.
The lamp consists of a substantial shade of hand-blown, smoked grey glass resting on a cylindrical base of natural oak wood. The design is an ode to traditional Bohemian glassware, translated into a modern design language. The light source, a visible filament bulb, spreads a warm and atmospheric light that is filtered by the tinted glass. The lamp is equipped with a black textile cord with an integrated dimmer, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted as desired.
Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition, retaining the original finish of both the wood and the glass. The combination of the natural wood grain and the smooth, translucent glass gives the object a refined yet robust character.
Due to its considerable size, this lighting object functions not only as a table lamp but can also be placed as a floor lamp on a low surface. It fits well in both modern and Scandinavian interiors, for example on a dresser, a side table, or in a reading corner.
