This is the iconic Brionvega TS 522 radio, a masterpiece of Italian design. Designed by the legendary duo Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper, this 'Cubo' radio is a design classic that combines functionality and sculptural form.
The radio is made of a white plastic casing with chrome accents and features a clever hinged design that allows it to be split in two. Closed, it is a perfect cube of 23 x 13 x 13 cm; open, it reveals the speaker and controls. This specific model, a reissue of the 1964 original, is a symbol of Space Age aesthetics and is included in the permanent collection of MoMA in New York.
