Product description
Waves break on the rugged coastline near Barcelona; their movement blurs into almost abstract forms. Water, rocks, and the distant breakwater merge into an atmospheric seascape, which is transformed into a plane of Prussian blue by the cyanotype process.
The artwork is made as a cyanotype, one of the earliest photographic printing techniques (dating from 1842).
The paper is hand-coated with the emulsion and exposed by contact printing with natural sunlight.
Visible brushstrokes and subtle tonal differences make each print unique.
An original, handmade photographic artwork from 2026, printed on 300 gsm Hahnemühle Platinum Rag paper in an edition of 5 copies.
Each print is individually hand-prepared, exposed, and developed; no two prints in the edition are identical.
Signed and numbered by the artist and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
Paper size: 20 × 24 inch / 50.8 × 60.96 cm
Image size (approx.): 11.8 × 17.7 inch / 30 × 45 cm
Ships flat, never rolled.
