Product description
RARE BRASS TABLE LAMP BY SÖLKEN, GERMANY — OFTEN ATTRIBUTED TO HANS-AGNE JAKOBSSON
Mid-Century Elegance with Art Deco Allure
This distinctive brass table lamp by Sölken, Germany is frequently mistaken for a design by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, and it’s easy to see why. Its brass dome with intricate openwork detailing casts striking light patterns, creating a warm, atmospheric glow that transforms any space.
Designed in the spirit of Art Deco, the lamp features a gold-toned metal body complemented by silky fringe, blending 1920s elegance with 1960s craftsmanship. Produced circa the 1960s, it evokes the glamour of a bygone era while fitting beautifully into eclectic or vintage-inspired interiors.
A true vintage treasure, this piece brings warmth, sophistication, and a touch of nostalgia to any setting.
In very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of age, the delicate silk fringe remains intact, adding a soft, tactile dimension to the lamp’s sculptural form.
