An adjustable pendant light by Cosack Leuchten, model 7565, produced in Germany circa 1960s. The fixture features a dual-material composition: a wide, gold-tone metal shade that directs light downwards, topped by a domed milk glass (opal) diffuser that allows for a soft, upward ambient glow. This technical combination reduces glare while illuminating the room. The lamp is designed with a practical "rise and fall" mechanism, utilizing a spiral cable and a metal handle at the bottom, allowing the user to adjust the height of the lamp with a simple pull. Designed specifically for dining areas, allowing intimate lighting when pulled low or general illumination when raised. Good vintage condition.
