This is a matching set of decorative objects, crafted in the Art Nouveau style from brass with enamelled interiors. The ensemble consists of a lidded trinket bowl and a coordinating small serving dish, both united by a shared decorative motif. The two pieces feature a base of solid brass, with the bowl resting on a pedestal foot and the dish framed by ornate, pierced handles characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. The interiors are finished with a cream-coloured enamel, hand-painted with a scene of a blue hummingbird sipping nectar from a pink flower. The lid of the bowl is topped with a pointed brass finial, completing the elegant silhouette.
