About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a sculptural ceiling lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Brand van Egmond, crafted from a complex web of steel wire and glass. The design is characteristic of the studio, known for its handmade, poetic light sculptures that explore the boundary between art and functional design.
The lamp is constructed from carefully bent and interwoven steel wire with a rust-colored finish, giving it an organic and industrial look. Glass elements are placed between the metalwork, diffusely spreading the light from the six light sources. The combination of the raw, dark metal and the clear glass creates a dynamic play of light and shadow. This fixture is designed to make a statement in any space.
The overall condition of the lamp is good, retaining its original character and the designer's intention. The rust-colored patina is an integral part of the design and contributes to its unique aesthetic. It is a fixture that forms a powerful visual element both when switched off and on.
This ceiling lamp is particularly suitable as a central light source above a dining table, in a hallway with a high ceiling, or in a living room.
Note: of the 6 bulbs, 1 socket/bulb is defective
