About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of four antique Brabantse knopstoelen, made from solid wood. These chairs are a classic example of Dutch craftsmanship, recognizable by their turned legs and the characteristic 'knobs' that crown the backrest.
The frame of the chairs is made of dark-stained wood, which provides a warm and authentic look. The seats are hand-woven from cane, a technique that is not only durable but also contributes to seating comfort. The ladder backrest with curved rungs offers good support and reinforces the traditional character of the design.
The chairs are in good condition appropriate for their age, with a patina that has developed over the years. The wooden construction is solid and the woven seats are intact, testifying to the quality and careful use by previous owners.
This set is particularly suitable for a dining room with a rural, classic, or rustic interior. They combine excellently with a robust wooden dining table and add an element of historical charm and warmth to the space.
