Product description
Robust dining table made from the famous bowling "de meibloem" in Ghent, Belgium. These 5-6 cm thick bowling lanes are made from combinations of lamellar Norwegian pine and Canadian maple. Typical bowling arrows/triangles made from solid sippo (no veneer). This eye catcher can be used a dining table, a desk, display table. New heavy support in black finish. Important note: due to the thousands of steel nails used in the original installation (bowling alley), these tables can weigh up to 100 kg per square meter. We have (many) more bowling lane parts (from 1 to 4meters)- similar or matching furniture can be offered on request. Space age chairs, displayed/pictured with the lower model bowling lane table, are sold separately. Dimensions in cm: H115 x W200 x D101
These bowling lanes have served as a battleground between bowling ball and pins. The hard, solid character, was retained in the ends which were intentionally not hidden. Everything was sanded and re-varnished. After (professional) demolition, the lanes (35 in total) were bought by me from the deconstruction company. Always processed in workshops (and spray cabins), stored in warehouse or store. No contact with smokers or pets.
