Product description
This fun and whimsical music box/decanter plays as soon as you pick up the bottle.
The "lantern" is a green glass bottle in a copper-colored hammered ship's lantern with a handle.
The maker is the Swiss company Reuge.
The tune it plays is "man müsste nochmal zwanzig sein" (man must still be zwanzig sein).
Height: 26 cm / Diameter: 12.5 cm
The decanter's spout has a cork stopper with a tube.
A truly rare vintage collectible.
Vintage Reuge Copper Plate Musical Lantern Carafe
The lantern has a copper color, which is a gilded look rather than real copper. The plate shows some wear.
A really nice item, it's a bit rarer and more unusual than the regular ones listed.
It has a hammered finish and is painted in copper.
The bottle is divided by twisted brass columns, so they actually look like green glass windows.
The carafe/lantern has a brass handle so you can hold it just like a real lantern.
