Danish design classic 'Slædestolen' (Sledge Armchair) Model 2254 with the matching footstool Model 2248, designed by Børge Mogensen.
Designer & Manufacturer: Designed in the 1950s by Børge Mogensen for the renowned manufacturer Fredericia Stolefabrik in Denmark.
Frame: Made of solid oak, characterized by a sleek, geometric open frame with the distinctive 'sledge' legs.
Functionality: The chair features an adjustable backrest that can be set in two positions for optimal comfort. Originally, a separate neck cushion with leather straps also belongs with the backrest.
Style: An epitome of Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian design, where functionality and minimalist clean lines take center stage.
With signs of use but no major defects.
The fabric is grey with a turquoise tone.
