For sale is a true postmodern design classic: The hand-blown crystal glass bowl „Isotta“ (model Mísa Isotta), designed in 1991 by the famous Czech architect and designer Bořek Šípek (1949–2016) for the Italian premium manufacturer Driade (from the well-known „Follies“ series).
The object impresses with Šípek's typical playful design language: A heavy, thick-walled bowl made of clear glass, adorned with organically shaped, colored glass applications in the form of leaves and thorns. This handmade artwork was produced in the renowned Czech glassworks Ajeto.
An absolute highlight for collectors of Postmodern and Memphis design.
