Rare bookshelf designed by Walter Wirz (Zurich 1919–2014) for Wilhelm Renz
Germany, circa 1960
Material: pressed wood.
The concealed mounting creates a floating effect.
The sturdy metal mounting brackets ensure the rack can carry a considerable weight.
The smooth white upholstery makes the item extremely easy to maintain.
This item is a beautiful example of mid-century modern design: functional and with a strong architectural character.
The item offered (width: 100 cm) is part of a set of 4 (see photos): 3 x 100 cm + 1 x 150 cm.
The bookshelf can be purchased separately or in combination with the others. Price per piece:
