Product description
This book stand was designed by Ladislav Bartoníček and produced for Krásná Jizba. The design dates to the mid-20th century and reflects the functional, material-focused approach characteristic of Bartoníček’s work, where everyday objects were treated with thoughtful proportions and honest craftsmanship.
Constructed entirely from wood, the stand features a sculptural yet practical form with an inclined upper shelf for books and a woven lower rack that provides additional storage. The visible wood grain and warm tone emphasize the natural material and highlight the restrained, utilitarian aesthetic.
