A Drum coffee table from the Danish design brand Bolia in the large version, designed by the German duo Kaschkasch. The Drum is minimalism in its purest form: a solid natural stone top recessed into a sleek, cylindrical steel rim, supported by thin stiles that terminate in a continuous base ring. The name refers to that drum shape, which visually accommodates the weight of the stone while the base remains open. Bolia has the Drum handcrafted in Denmark and offers it with tops in various natural stones.
This version features a black marble top with subtle veining that gives the stone depth without becoming restless. With a diameter of sixty centimeters and a height of thirty-five centimeters, this is the low, wide version: a true coffee table for the center of the living area, spacious enough for a tray, a stack of books, and a vase all at once. It also works well as a substantial side table next to a sofa or in a reception area.
The Bolia brand label is present on the underside of the tabletop. The table is in good condition with minor signs of use. There are no cracks or chipped corners in the marble. The new price of this version at Bolia is nearly eight hundred euros. There are also two smaller, taller Drum tables available in the same finish; combined, they create a beautiful layered look.
