Private sellerProduct description
Here is a vintage 8mm camera from the Swiss manufacturer Bolex Paillard, an example of mid-20th century precision engineering. This P3 Zoom Reflex model is renowned for its robust construction and ergonomic design, embodying a pivotal era in the history of amateur cinema. Made in Switzerland, this camera features a polished aluminum body with black textured panels and a distinctive pistol grip. It is equipped with a SOM Berthiot Pan-Cinor zoom lens, a notable feature of the time. The combination of silver metallic finishes and black accents gives it an aesthetic that is both functional and elegant, typical of 1960s industrial design. The camera is in good vintage condition, retaining the character and patina of its history. It comes with several of its original accessories, including its carrying case, user manual, and Zeiss Ikon brand filters. This completeness makes it a particularly interesting set for collectors. As a Decorative Object, this Bolex Paillard camera will perfectly find its place in an office, a library, or on a shelf, adding a touch of history and sophistication. It integrates well into Mid-Century Modern, industrial, or eclectic style interiors, and makes for a conversation piece for vintage cinema and technology enthusiasts.
