This piece stands out for its exceptional craftsmanship, employing traditional chasing and repoussé techniques to create finely detailed patterns.
Round in shape, the box features a lid adorned with a richly detailed central medallion. This depicts a naturalistic scene with birds perched among flowers and branches in high relief. The body of the box is decorated with delicate engravings and a Greek key motif frieze, testifying to the artisan's technical mastery. The interior is smooth, contrasting with the ornamental richness of the exterior.
