This is a ceramic vase designed in 1961 by Bodo Mans for Bay Keramik. The piece is an outstanding example of the 'Ravenna' series and represents the bold aesthetic of West German ceramics from the Mid-Century Modern era.
The vase is made of ceramic and features an abstract, geometric pattern in vibrant colors such as red, yellow, green, blue, and violet, separated by thick black outlines. The background has a speckled 'Fat Lava'-like texture in shades of brown and white. Manufactured in West Germany, this model has the form number 1032-20, indicating a height of 20 centimeters.
The overall condition of this vintage vase is excellent and consistent with its age. The glaze is intact and the colors are vibrant, preserving the original character of the design. The piece is clearly marked on the underside with the manufacturer's mark and model number.
