Product description
The dream of Benny Frandsen, a Danish electrical engineer, was to design and produce lamps after his education. After initial attempts with highly geometric lamps were not very successful, he noticed that Danes prefer round shapes and created both the wall lamp Ball Magnet and the pendant lamp Ball. The wall lamp Ball Magnet proved to be a great success and could soon be found in almost every Danish household. The classic design still carries the Ball wall lamp after more than 50 years, meanwhile also in trendy colors and with contemporary lighting technology. Over the years, the Ball series has been expanded with many models, as well as floor and table lamps.
The built-in magnet between the holder and the shade allows the lamp to be rotated in all directions. The decoratively rounded metal shade radiates light not only directly downward, but also indirectly upward through the ring of small cutouts incorporated into the top. An atmospheric additional lighting is created - welcome to all living rooms and bedrooms.
