This vase dates from the late 1930s (± 1939) and belongs to the production under the artistic direction of Charles Catteau and his Atelier de Fantaisie, as listed in the official Keramis decor lists. Features: Original stamp: KERAMIS – Made in Belgium Decor: D.2516 (documented in the book Art Deco Ceramics – Charles Catteau) Model: 721 (documented in the book Art Deco Ceramics – Charles Catteau) Period: ca. 1939 Hand-painted floral motifs in vibrant colors (blue, yellow, orange) Typical crackle glaze Beautiful, bulbous shape Dimensions: Height: 22.5 cm Diameter: 20 cm Condition: Good overall condition with signs of use consistent with age. At the bottom of the base, there is repaired damage – a small chip (see detail photos). Otherwise, no cracks or structural damage.
