About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a decorative glass sculpture from the Danish design house Bo Concept. The piece captures the ethereal form of a jellyfish, seemingly suspended in motion within a solid, ovoid block of clear glass, creating a captivating visual effect.
Crafted from substantial, high-quality glass, the sculpture uses intricate internal detailing to form the jellyfish's bell and delicate tentacles. The transparent nature of the glass allows light to pass through and illuminate the figure within, while the jellyfish itself is rendered in a contrasting white, giving it a distinct and lifelike appearance. This object is a fine example of Bo Concept's commitment to contemporary design and accessible artistry for the modern home.
The sculpture presents in good overall condition, maintaining its clarity and polished finish which gives it a pleasing tactile quality. The weight of the piece underscores its solid glass construction. It is an object that invites closer inspection, revealing the fine bubbles and textures that make up the internal composition.
Ideal as a sophisticated paperweight on a home office desk or as a standalone decorative object on a bookshelf or console table, this piece integrates seamlessly into various interior styles. It works particularly well within Scandinavian, minimalist, or contemporary settings, adding a touch of organic elegance and curiosity to a curated space.
