Designed in the 1960s by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, the BN-25 is one of his most iconic table lamps — a sculptural blend of soft curves, layered shades, and atmospheric light. Its signature tiered metal shade creates a warm, horizontal glow that gently radiates outward, giving the lamp its unmistakable Jakobsson character.
The elegant, trumpet-shaped base rises fluidly to meet the floating shade structure, balancing visual weight with a sense of lightness. The brass-toned finish has developed a rich, vintage sheen that complements the lamp’s warm illumination.
In good vintage condition, the lamp presents beautifully when lit, with all parts original and functioning well. There are no dents, only minor surface scratches consistent with age and use.
