Stunning, iridescent blue glass 'Flora' vase with red details. Made by Frantisek Koudelka for Prachen, Czech Republic, 1970s. This is a rare piece from the mid-century but has a Bohemian design with air bubbles integrated into the colour flow. František Koudelka is a Czech artist who was born in 1945 and is known as both a sculptor and painter. The Czech Republic has a rich history of glass production, both pressed and handmade, and has been one of the best producers in Europe of art glass.
