About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage Decorative Objects in the shape of a bird, presumably a pheasant or peacock, made from Murano glass. The piece is characterized by its graceful, elongated form and the vibrant use of color typical of 20th-century Italian glass art.
The object is made of clear glass incorporating a multitude of colors, including green, red, blue, yellow, and white. This technique creates a dynamic and playful effect, with colors blending into each other in the body and long tail feathers. The bird rests on a twisted, transparent glass base that provides stability and an elegant contrast to the colorful upper part.
The glassware is in excellent condition and has retained its original luster and clarity. The colors are as vibrant as when originally produced, and the shape is completely intact.
This colorful Murano glass object is a striking addition to an eclectic or vintage interior. It looks particularly good on a sideboard, in a display cabinet, or on a windowsill where natural light can accentuate the colors in the glass.
