About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a sculptural pedestal table, defined by its clean lines and fully mirrored surfaces. The piece's minimalist, block-like form gives it a strong architectural presence, making it a versatile object for a contemporary interior.
Constructed from a wooden base clad entirely in tinted mirror glass, this table has a monolithic appearance. The dark, smoky grey finish of the glass creates a sophisticated and reflective quality, interacting with light and its surroundings. Its geometric purity is characteristic of minimalist and postmodern design principles, where form and material are the primary focus.
The overall condition of the table is good, showing signs of use that are consistent with its history. The mirrored surfaces retain their reflective integrity, contributing to the piece's dramatic and elegant character. The simple, unadorned design ensures it remains a timeless addition.
This pedestal functions equally well as a side table next to a sofa or armchair, or as a standalone column for displaying a sculpture, a vase of flowers, or a table lamp. Its reflective nature allows it to blend into a space while also making a distinct statement, fitting seamlessly into modern, minimalist, or Hollywood Regency styled environments.
