This wall object is made with black lacquered razor clams (shells) on a white wooden panel.
Info about the creator of this work: visual artist Henk Broeke lives and works in The Hague.
He creates minimalist paintings and wall objects in which texture plays a leading role.
He often makes use of natural finds, such as seed pods, tree bark, nuts, seeds, mussels, oyster shells, etc.
But also other materials, including felt, wood, paper, and texture paste.
After preparation, these are used in works that, through their structure, relief, and symmetry, become expressive minimalist objects.
Every painting and wall object is unique; there are no series.
The signature is always on the back so that the composition is not disturbed.
A certificate of authenticity is included. Exhibitions
