Black as a winter's night, this coffee pot captures the light and transforms it into shimmering bronze reflections. Across its entire body, a luxuriant gilded decoration unfolds in continuous foliate scrolls, fern leaves, fan-shaped flowers, and intertwined volutes, applied with a precision that attests to meticulous artisanal craftsmanship. Deep burgundy accents punctuate the lid and the neck, adding an extra warmth to this sumptuous palette. The short, upturned spout, the faceted handle, and the lid's finial are highlighted with gold bands, uniting each element into a coherent and elegant composition. The interior, enameled in ivory white, contrasts with the exterior's blackness. The unmarked base is characteristic of Czech or German artisanal productions from the second half of the 20th century. The gilding bears the marks of ancient use, particularly on the handle and spout, which only adds to the piece's patina.
