After 4 years of WIK (Artist Income Benefit Act) in Maastricht, the Netherlands, Chantalle Smeets has been active as a professional artist for 20 years. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and also an artist), they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).
During those years, Chantalle Smeets has developed her own style, which becomes visible in her sculptures of bronze, stone, ceramic and wood. Her source of inspiration is nature.
She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (including sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In addition to her sculptures in various sizes, she also exhibits paintings on canvas and panel in mixed techniques.
