ProfessionalProduct description
The Fabricius & Kastholm 6727 swivel chair is a definitive example of mid-century modern office seating. Designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, this piece is characterised by its sculptural, sweeping lines and ergonomic profile, making it a highly sought-after model in the realm of executive furniture. Constructed with a robust metal five-star base on castors, the chair features a continuous seat and backrest upholstered in premium black leather. The fluid integration of the armrests into the main body of the chair highlights the designers' commitment to both form and function. The combination of the polished metal base and the rich leather upholstery creates a striking visual contrast typical of the era's design ethos. The chair remains in great overall condition, preserving its structural integrity and original character. The leather upholstery retains a supple texture, reflecting careful use over time, while the metal base continues to provide stable and smooth movement. This swivel chair is ideally suited for a sophisticated home office or a professional executive suite. Its classic mid-century modern aesthetic pairs seamlessly with both vintage wooden desks and contemporary minimalist workspaces, offering a refined touch to any interior. Minimal signs of use.
