Rare golden side table by Marcel Wanders. Only two copies worldwide – one in Dubai, this one from a private collection. A sculptural and rare design by the Netherlands' most iconic designer. The golden version of the 'Ken' side table has only been made twice worldwide. An opportunity for the design collector looking for something you won't find anywhere else. The base is made of laser-cut steel, 1 cm thick, with a gold-colored lacquer. On top of that, an anodized aluminum disc, bonded with clear glass. The finish is robust and refined at the same time. Dimensions: height 40 cm, diameter 40 cm. The design is a continuation of the 'Ken' stool, which was named Future Classic in 2007 (Elle Decoration). In 2009, Marcel Wanders translated this concept into this elegant table, with the same balance between conceptual and practical. The table is unused. Minimal traces possible due to storage, but never been in use. Asking price €1,495 (original value approx. €2,000). Bidding is possible.
