The Biglia ashtray was designed by Joe Colombo in 1963. It was produced by Arnolfo di Cambio, a glassblower from Tuscany, Italy.
Its rounded shape is inspired by the spherical form of a marble, or 'biglia' in Italian. The ashtray consists of a cut crystal glass ball that rests loosely on the metal base and can be turned by the user to face in the desired direction.
This is a genuine vintage copy, with the original label still present.
The ashtray is in very good condition, showing only normal signs of use.
