The Bieffeplast Stillight Table Lamp is a rare and expressive example of Postmodern design from the 1980s, designed by Paolo Tilche for the renowned Italian company Bieffeplast. The architectural design takes the form of a stylized tower with four slender columns, blue square window accents, and a pyramid-shaped shade. When the lamp is switched on, the pyramid emits an atmospheric overhead light, while light also shines subtly through the openings on the sides.
Thanks to the striking use of color and geometric shapes, this fixture aligns seamlessly with the Memphis design movement of that period. The striking blue push button on the heavy round base makes operation just as distinctive as the appearance itself.
